Water System Update – Hilltop Pressure Zone
This morning, June 15, 2026, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the Village of Warwick’s Hilltop Pressure Zone experienced a significant loss of water pressure due to a malfunctioning pressure-reducing valve, which caused the Hilltop water tank to drain.
Village Water Department personnel responded immediately and identified the issue. The malfunctioning valve was isolated by approximately 10:00 a.m., and the Hilltop tank has been steadily refilling since that time. All water treatment and distribution facilities are fully operational, and water pressure throughout the Hilltop area continues to improve.
The Village water system remains safe. Treatment and monitoring safeguards functioned as designed during the incident, and water quality has not been compromised.
Village staff will continue to closely monitor the system as normal operating conditions are restored.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the patience and understanding of our residents while the system continues to recover.
Due to the snow storm and snow removal there will be no parking on Main Street Until Further Notice
