Local State of Emergency Rescinded – February 23, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.

Mayor Michael J. Newhard has announced that the Village of Warwick’s Declaration of a Local State of Emergency, issued on February 22, 2026, will be officially rescinded effective 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Road conditions have significantly improved following sustained clean-up operations by the Village’s public works crew. We thank our Department of Public Works, Police Department, Fire Department, EMS personnel, and mutual aid partners for their tireless efforts to keep our community safe.

Residents are encouraged to remain cautious while traveling and to allow the public works crew to continue monitoring roadways and addressing any remaining issues.

Parking restrictions associated with the State of Emergency will no longer be in effect as of 3:00 p.m. today, unless otherwise posted. Standard Village parking regulations remain in effect.

We appreciate the cooperation and patience of our residents during this storm event.
